Ceramic Fibre Blanket
Request the technical datasheet by email.

Ceramic fiber blanket is a flexible roll insulation material used in industrial furnaces and high-temperature equipment. It is used to reduce heat loss in furnace walls, roofs, doors and pipelines. It can be cut to fit the surface; the appropriate grade and thickness are selected according to operating conditions.
Catalog information
Classification temperatures of 1260 °C, 1430 °C and 1600 °C; density options of 96 and 128 kg/m³. These values do not indicate continuous operating temperature. Product grade is confirmed according to the technical data sheet and application conditions.

Selecting ceramic fiber blanket
When requesting a quotation, share the furnace or line's continuous operating temperature, surface dimensions and target insulation thickness. Classification temperature is not the same as the product's continuous service temperature; a suitable grade is determined from the technical data sheet.
Applications
Industrial furnace walls and doors, boilers, hot pipelines, ceramic and glass plants, iron and steel plants, refineries and petrochemical plants. Product suitability is assessed according to application conditions.
Information to provide for a quotation

Applications using this product
Fiber structure and thermal behavior
Ceramic fiber blankets form a flexible insulation layer through the interlocking of fibers by needling. Binder-free product types are available; this feature must be verified from the ordered product's data sheet. Low heat storage can help limit the energy required to heat the lining, particularly in cyclic furnaces.
Selecting blanket for the application
Furnace and boiler linings, high-temperature pipes, door linings and expansion joints require different installation details. Density alone is not a performance indicator; thickness, thermal conductivity at the mean layer temperature and permanent linear shrinkage are examined together. Chemical compatibility is checked separately in environments containing acids or alkalis.
Checking the technical data sheet and product grade
Classification temperature is not continuous operating temperature. The current technical data sheet and safety data sheet for the product to be supplied take precedence. Thermal conductivity and shrinkage values are assessed together with test conditions.
