Valmiera Glass products
Valmiera Glass CF series
Binder-free fiberglass layers are joined by stitching with polyester thread. The manufacturer specifies 600 °C resistance for E-glass fiber. The polyester stitching's suitability for hot surface conditions must be confirmed separately; fiber resistance must not be assumed to apply to the stitching thread.
| Property | CF / E-glass manufacturer range |
|---|---|
| Standard width | 100 cm; up to 200 cm on request |
| Thickness | 4–12 mm |
| Mass per unit area | 800–2900 g/m² |
Code CF 800-4 denotes a mass per unit area of 800 g/m² and a thickness of 4 mm. HR-glass options are confirmed separately.
Applications
Material suited to the application is selected for removable insulation jackets and stitched insulating components. Sewing thread and any coating are determined separately according to operating conditions.
Technical specifications and product selection
Thickness, density, dimensions and temperature limits are confirmed against the selected product's technical data sheet. Continuous operating temperature and short-term temperature resistance must be assessed separately. Specify thermal conductivity, coating and other technical requirements in your quotation request.
Stitched Needled Fiberglass Blanket pricing and quotation
